You can have oneshots play at speeds other than 1 in the timeline. That means that you can play loops that have been misplaced into the oneshots category at different tempos. I found some big room EDS loops in the oneshots section and play them at double, half, and various other tempos.
It's very useful. You can change the tempo of a track without changing the pitch of vocals using time stretching. Keeps the voice from sounding weird, and the poor quality of stretching isn't that noticeable with small bpm changes.

I use it to nudge the pitch of oneshot vocals slightly up or down without changing the bar length of the sample

Lol I've been doing this for so long... I didn't realize that other people didn't know about this haha
They do. As long as changing the tempo does not change the space that they take on the timeline, they will be played at different speeds for different tempos.

I thought 1-shots didn't change when the tempo changed...

So for a 128 bpm "loop", the highest possible bpm would be achieved by setting bpm to 30 (minimum), dragging the sample in, and setting the bpm to 300. 128 bpm*300/30 = 1280 bpm. Of course, then the loop won't line up with the bars, so it's better to set bpm to 32, drag the sample, and set it to 256 for 128 bpm*256/32 = 1024 bpm

It's not a real loop, so it isn't stretched to fit the number of bars. The "loops" that I used were at 128 bpm. If I entered 64 as the track bpm and dragged the samples in and played them back, they would seem to play back at 128 bpm. But they would take half the space on the timeline, so when I set the bpm back to 128, they play back at twice their original speed.
how tho?
how do u change the bmp ?
how
