After transforming into their transcended states, Onei and Odera defeat Loondream Chartreuse together, and Chartreuse says that the fights have killed any motivation he had left. He doesn’t feel like taking things to the next level, so he’ll let them go. Chartreuse also realized that he underestimated them, and says that he hopes they can at least knock some sense into Apnea for him. After that, Onei and Odera arrive in a sector that feels as if it belongs to another plane entirely.

This is truly an ethereal sector, to say the least. Things here seem very lighthearted, joyous, and bright. Rather than just astral beings, there are what appear to be spirits floating around, keeping the place together, optimistic for the return of their commander, Ether. They explain that Ether was a commander who manifested on the edges of the astral and spiritual planes a bit after the original 8 commanders, but before Onei and Odera. Ether was a lighthearted congenial commander, but she was also innocently naive. She got along well with just about everyone and was most known for establishing connections between the astral and spiritual planes, which is why the spirits were in her boreal sector... but then she went missing.. for EONS... The spirits say that the Astral Plane hasn't been the same since she disappeared; the native astral beings have been more hostile towards outsiders, which makes them feel like they've done something wrong. It's similar to how Onei and Odera are being treated, and they suspect that the other commanders know, but are keeping them in the dark out of suspicion. How could they miss something so important? None of them know. The spirits just want Ether to come back.
