Nah I think you guys are missing what i was actually saying. The kick sounds fine. I was saying that *for the transition* i thought it would sound better for the kick to have volume and lowpass to full bandwidth automations

Honestly there isn't much wrong with the kick since it punches through pretty well anyways. But that's just what I think. I think the original did a good job with conveying the drum tone and everything.

And another thing. I wanted to keep the kick as is because I felt it fit the groove. However I do agree with some kind of transitions in between the sections.

I would add a riser but it isn't really something I'm going for. I would rather have a soft transition. But honestly this is a rough sketch because I can't be working on laggy drafts all the time. I need to publish them half the time to make edits. But thanks for the suggestion.
