The mix is gonna sound pretty thin if you're listening on headphones, but thats because i need to account for this song being played on bigger speakers (i.e. a club or a car with subwoofers) can't be blowin up somebody's nice speakers with an unbalanced mix ;) plus thats where a song like this is meant to be enjoyed listening to

final mix process before posting to soundcloud. hopefully the low frequencies are slightly more dominant now and everything should be generally a little louder... hopefully.

  • Jesus CHRIST dude

You are mastering pretty much all aspects of house

Hype as fuck, especially the chords at 00:30 , like that immediately raised the bar for this track, sounds like some knife party progressions. Only thing I'd say is the mono pitch bending sound at the breakdown should have some low end weight in the track imo

    • Also a ton of reverb to fill up space which is probably why it sounds like chords

    • I gotchu bro I’ll take a look at it! Also, thank you fellas. It’s actually not even any chords 😅 it’s literally the same melody on 2 different synths that kinda just accidentally harmonized very well together

    • same bro the way those chords are sound designed takes me back in a good way

Car Speaker Test: compressed the bassline a little more to even out the frequencies so it stands out a bit more in the mix

  • Jammin track homie. Very nice.

added some width to different elements of the track to make the mix sound wider; panned some snare fills and closing cymbals, added some inverted stereo width to the clap to make it take up more space, and added some light chorus effect to the vocals

  • near 00:50 that drop was really cool, and then that whine, the way it just draws out? So satisfying.

The mix is a bit underwhelming tho, tbh. Everything feels a bit centered. It would be nice to hear more stereo panned elements. You could probably even do this to your percussion elements and get a good result as well.

  • 6min remix when?

  • It's like eating an seasoned burger but in small proportions
