    Yeah I just opened it up, instead of layering the kicks I would probably try to find a kick with a short decay and punchy attack. I also might sidechain the kick and the bass so the low end is a little less muddy.

    I hear it a bit it pops weirdly with the bass. idk I think I added a dub kick that's too harsh for the style
