Ephesus (fase one) by Meander

J.I.N.R.I. You know you're about to die. J.N.K.O.J. Now we're in the end of days. Bring me back to life. Pray my soul can see eternity. Bow to the King. Pray my life can see eternity. Bow to the King. Fill my heart with yours, my love is so secure. This blinding light so pure. So clean me to my core. Take my breathing, heart stops beating. Death then I'm reborn. Dead and broken. Disecting this track was a big job, had to rewire, listen, mix, volumes, eq, high/lowpass and other different stuff. It is a good way to make the track my own. decided to publish this fase (no adjustments to composition) to listen to and get some feedback, after fase one I go and try to make a new composition (fase 2) that probably is going to mess up the whole track so that's why I want make my own mix of fase one (if that makes sense). so enjoy: fase 1 and please give feedback:~)

oh yeah, at some point I comped overheads with other tracks... I didn't want Tom1, Tom2, Tom3 and so on just to take up the majority of the stems on audiotool with silence and an occasional hit. I tried to find compromise to keep these a little more simple to work with.

Thanks this is a wild track, esspecialy the drums where a big nut to crack, on the overhead you can hear the hihat and the toms and I wanted to change the volume and cut frequenties. So I had to copy them and cut back to be able to highpass the hihat and lowpass the toms, and afterwards I felt it wasn't natural anymore. If I didge one thing in the second phase it is the drumwavefiles..lol

Thank you, I feel like after about 5 hours it has not changes much, I think its clearer and good enough for fase 2, thanks for the feedback and motivation :~)
