back with another oneshot-turned-pad (this time in 3/4, not that it makes much difference in an ambient track).

Everything in this is made from the same oneshot, not just the pad.

.

Not particularly good, quick one day project so that I actually publish something!

The sample I used was ARW.Snare_20 and the other samples are just timeline bounces. The pulv is there for envelope control of the pad using the pulvs "audio in" feature.

Workflow is a mess...

why how im so jealous i

    WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHhhn just revolutionary

  • Holy shit I forgot abt this

This just made me realise I have so much more to learn on this DAW

  • Coming back here because it sounds amazing, regardless of the method of production. I'll study this because I really need to learn how to make dynamic, huge reverb pads.

    • Funny how things work. I've made a "piano" with a trap snare and helmholtz better than I could with a synth.

    • I honestly find more success with this method than using a synth

    • Also absolutely love that rhythmic "synth" and the rhythm change on the subdominant and dominant.

  • I stupidly promised on the discord to do this again but with a fart next time...

    • I'm good at farting on request.

    • I can record some Oneshot farts for you, babe.

  • The amount of automation for the pad alone makes me want to cry

    • Lol eh it's not toooooo bad or anything.

    • Honestly most of the automation is changing rassle slow speed and Helmholtz notes which is essentially just like using a note track!

    • lol I was hoping someone would open it

  • HOW

    • I can't even make pads in FL with dedicated vsts and 1000% reverb and you show me up with rasselbocks and snares ;)
