i just wanted to share this...

i still want to learn it but right now learning instruments and how to record will help me more immediately, so i can work more slowly on sound design and be less stressed/burnt out because of failure

but this goes for most trap producers on audiotool, and im almost sure this is a general thing for trap prods. i dont think its a bad thing if theyre really working at other stuff that makes them shine. sound design is really heavy emphasis for other genres like tearout/dubstep, etc

i wish i had tried to learn it before i got "good" cause now i feel like its a waste of time when i could just use my skills ive already built and just learn to play more instruments, which is easier for me than learning sound design

im just saying my sound design sucks ass i can only tweak presets/live recordings, thats where my strength is. ive been doing vocal experiments alot and theyve been going pretty well. thankfully i can sing so i can use minimal pitch correction for now cause im broke

That is definitely true

dog, your screen shot is the base xpand synth. that's defiantly way harder to use as a hybrid. not a bad synth, but it gets rough when you really need a specific sound that's not in the presets.
