use saw waves. with detunes and graphical eqs. make chords and shit. and some really punchy drums. add side chain. bam u have those sweet loud ass melodic chords. this is remixable if you'd like to reference or remix it. oh and layer bitches. freakon layer!!! video link will be put in the comments here in a bit

Yeah I'm not saying high end is bad, I'm saying the snare has too much. Punch comes from mids as well as highs (:
high end is good though it gives it that punch that i like.
