im a novice, I don't think I'm qualified to teach how to make music lol
a lot of it is just like automations with note tuning and volume changes

added some delay

change out your samples, turn down all the highs and mids on the bass (and just the whole thing down a lot so it doesn't clip), tweak the pulvisateur until you get a sound you like, get some mixing ig, and add some more synths in the back so it sounds more full (add some reverb to really sell the effect)

uhh turn the highs down too
Dec 25, 24
I turned down the mids and reduced the gain on the 808s

i do think your bass sounds very wobbly now, decrease the waveshaper a little bit or turn mids down (highs too, you don't need those)

republishing now

I added more body and reverb to it and boosted the waveshaper
Dec 24, 24
just boost the waveshaper or turn up the mids
Dec 24, 24
wave shaper made it sound slightly different, not sure if its better or worse or the same, but nothing crazy
Dec 24, 24
i mean i was trying to give you as little work as possible to make this sound good
also if you want it raspier then just make a smooth 808 and put a wave shaper on it, but don't boost it too much
Dec 24, 24
I was definitely trying to get more of a raspy sounding 808 than a smoother 808

sooooo change the entire track throughout? lol, I meannn, I could remix the entire thing, again?

and also space out the sfx some more, mix it at least a little with some reverb or delay, and turn it down on centroid
