Something about the reverb in the very beginning has a very uncomfortable psychoacoustic effect. The drop really comes out of nowhere and sounds very familiar. I could swear I've heard this exact drop before. The transitions are very out of the blue. Those growls are especially out of nowhere. The synth design for the drops is simultaneously too big and too thin, it's hard to explain. It has a very loud in your face feel but it still just sounds like two voices with some sdetune.
The end cuts off way too soon, and by the end, that arp has well worn out its welcome.
The growls sound nice, but they're out of place in this track. The parts with the EP are probably the best. Overall, there doesn't feel like a cohesive structure to this track. It feels like it's missing about 40% of the track that makes everything else make sense. Voices to make the impacts more impactful, carefuler sound design, more intentional transitions, etc.
