The only problem with the tuning is the sample. unfortunately, you have to change it to timestretching to be nice. And then change the kick pitch to match.

u should definitely use synths though, they're there might as well take advantage

detune basically splits the signal and alternates between tuning one side either up or down by the amount set on the left knob, and "pre-delay" is basically the delay between the alternation of the channels
