It's been awhile since i made Future Bass, like too long. Here's something i made, inspired by daily regiment of life. Whenever you boot up the computer, you enter a different state of reality. One without stress, without all the pain in life and constant grind your going thru, you just wanna relax. Hope ya'll get chill vibes from this song, it isn't aimed at being amazing or anything but to give you a vibe of "Relaxation"

  • imma call this a failed track

  • Really cool!!! More mixing would be nice. But it sounds good either way.

  • i'm still gonna do more mixing

    Cleaned up some frequencies

  • lmao im off AT for 14 hours and there's like 8 new comments

  • I would solo the kick and bass line so you can identify what's clipping. For example, boosting the kick with the EQ will reduce the clipping. Controlling the low frequencies is important, and you typically want to leave space for the mid-range instruments like the snare.

@relative mAJOR is taking the wrong approach, because too much top end will weaken your mix. It needs to balance out, if that makes sense.

    • Increasing the volume, or adding compression to the kick would help a lot.

    • That's why the right sidechaining and EQing can lessen the harshness of the snare. But anyways, this may be a leveling issue, or their headphones.

    • the kick is not faded so the sub is clipping. it might also be too loud. try increasing the transient instead. a snare needs top end to stand out or else you'll end up making it too loud.

  • even thought the kick and snare need redone, this is still pretty good. youve improved a lot

  • bro get ur kick sub and lower that snare. if you want the snare louder just increase the high end. didn't you notice it was missing it?

  • That snare vibrates through my skull at 800 mph...

  • I find the snare pretty jarring

  • damn siren, damn

  • This is pretty nice. I like that arpeggio and the lead is really good too! Although, the drums are quite loud in the drops. the bass's octave is too low. Aside that, really nice job! :)
