  • idk how but only just found out that dysphoria (outside of trans stuff) is kind of common, 1 in 20 people have it apparently. there has always been a feeling of sadness and like my soul has been punched but could never figure out the cause and nothing i do seems to fix this feeling. maybe this is it, i just have dysphoria. im interested in trying out meditation since i hear it works wonders for some people. but ofc im lazy lol. just wanted to share my experience and journey.

There's this concept of the "dominant other" which means you need an intermediary to deliver the sense of pleasure and self-esteem FOR you, you don't "reward" yourself. To me that hit very close to home at the time. It still does tbh.

But There are parallels EVERYWHERE. I've found myself in the descriptions from something between BPD/C-PTSD to ADHD
