It's cold, and there isn't a village for miles. But it's beautiful out here, with the evergreen trees blocking the chilled wind from their little camp. There's mountains of glaciers, frozen solid, and the rocks at the cores have been frozen for thousands, possibly millions of years- nevertheless, little plants grow and creatures adapted to the cold scuttle about, and in the distance, August can see an ice dragon teaching her hatchlings how to fly.
