Lyrics
Verse 1:
Forget about your troubles,
Spread a little cheer,
Time for making snow angels,
Time for eggnog and reindeer.
Forget about the future,
We all have a past,
Glad to be of service,
For those who come in last.
Chorus:
Listen to the chorus sing,
Listen to the sleigh bells ring,
It's Christmas, my favorite time of year.
Verse 2:
Forget about your thoughts,
Who cares if you made the grade,
Time for forgiveness,
Before the feeling fades.
Forget about the hatred,
Be thankful for all the toys,
No bah humbugs,
Only mistletoe and joy.
Chorus
Instrumental
Verse 3:
Forget about indifference,
Things that keep us apart,
Time to gather together,
To show we have a big heart.
Forget about what's shallow,
Look deep inside yourself,
And shine on forever,
Like the Christmas star you are.
Chorus
