I think this is surprisingly solid, you did great!
If you were willing to go back and do a re-publish I'd look at and how the drums emphasize the vocals! That's what the rest of the track needs; think about how the drums and bass especially can reinforce big moments in the vocals. This has a lot of potential, it would be worth a look ;)
