I would love if naswalt would lay some vocals on this track

  • Not bad at all. The whole mix just lacks a bit of treble. Easily fixed with some multiband compression on most of the synths. I would also do the filter sweeps in the mid section way less, and do it on mainly the synths, but not the drums.

  • Solid stuff

  • Sounds really cool! (even though I might not be qualified for that genre)

Some IMHOs: The "drive by" sample has a single occurrence at 2:16 I would have expected a second use near the start - maybe within the first break?

There's a huge contrast between the rather silent breaks and the rest of the tracks with almost no dynamics.

The LP-filter at 1:12 is cool but the recover phase takes too long - sounds more like an intro than a restart.

The compressor is a bit too aggressive for my taste.

    • Ill be sure to consider this in my next project as well

    • Thank you

    • Ignoring the global fade-in/out with the LP filter:

start - 0:32 (drums, pad, lead, bass are always on)

      break (everything off)

0:36 - 1:08 (drums, pad, lead, bass are always on)

      break (everything off)

1:12 - 1:44 (drums, pad, lead, bass are always on)

      variation* (bass, pad, lead)

1:52 - end (drums, pad, lead, bass are always on)

Most of your track is everything on or off. I miss more parts that are like the 'variation' section which I like very much. Maybe more drum patterns?
