@jthedrummer , if you're referring to this track, this is not an example of polyrhythm. For that you will need to have independent rhythmic layers running simultaneously: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyrhythm

To me, this sounds like 12/8. Four beats, 3 subdivisions per beat. It's not 4/4, although some people say that 12/8 is just 4/4 with a shuffle. I think it's still a good entry.

Yes, that's how I hear it, namely like 4/4 with triplets, only that in this track the triplets are notated as quarter notes and you have a fast paced four bar structure, effectively giving the impression that a beat begins when in reality an entire new bar begins. On a sidenote: I can't see how you can technically keep any notes out of any of the 3/4 bars in the timeline, unless you manage to tear a hole in the Audiotool spacetime continuum or something. :P

Sorry, ich kann nicht mehr folgen. Die Kickdrum kommt auf 1.11, 1.21, 1.23 und der Bass dazu auf 1.11, 1.21, 1.23, 1.33. Das wiederholt sich in jedem Takt. Was müsste denn anders sein?

I mean it is set on 3/4 so that part of the challenge is solved. But you created something different. When you are choosing 3/4 or 5/4 the bassdrum can be still on the 1 in the given tempo. You have the tempo set on 155 but the track seems like 100 -110 bpm. But still, I really like it very much. Don't give up
