    yeah you can do really cool sounding Hi hats by changing the velocities :)

    I think I've only used velocity settings on drums when I put them on note tracks, I got the idea from Rnzr and it's really helpful.

    Thanks Reversal! :) Yes, I have been enlightened on this! I really had no idea hehe..I just thought those dots indicated where the notes were beyond the visual region! I'm wondering what else I'm completely ignorant about here, Oh well, lol, plenty still to learn. It's all good fosho! :)

    @Yafee , I think the variation in color you are seeing is due to the different velocity settings. I haven't opened it up to look but I suspect that is the culprit.
