i think the sample(s) need better levelling too, or at least give 0:10 some fx leading into it so it doesn't seem as big of a change in volume

i do think open hats aren't something you should have playing a lot of the time tho, escpecially that one bc it's not really transient like most ohs are and it's jus this long, sustained open hat

nah i think he got sum going with the snap. he jus needs to layer a rim or something on it to make it more snappy and loud
