make the exchange of interests, start saying what you like about their music, listen to feedback on your own creations, build friendships you never thought you'd make and overall make sure you are always developing...music is always changing. It always has, so learn to adapt and be ready for downfalls it's never always black and white but keep producing

too grow as an artist you have to speak, sure you can wait but you'll be waiting a long time for people to hear your stuff... so what do u do? you start talking to fellow producers and no i don't mean the bs "hey check out "insert cringe title here" it's a BANGER!" no one will take you seriously there's hyping and then theirs being delusional. i mean actually talk to them like a human being ffs it's not hard a simple "hi, hello" "i like your music/ i have opinions on your music"

your first mistake their is "i just wanna know how to get popular" you shouldn't strive for popularity just for the sake of quote unquote "being known" if your music doesn't speak for itself you won't grow as an artist, period. that's your first development to take, it's to make sure you care more about your music than what others might think bc you'll never please everyone. now let me enlighten you on a thing called "communication" it's a beautiful thing (especially in the industry)
