a tribute to calamity. it's been a big part of my life and i had to do it justice with this intro. i actually started this track before the entire incident, and the idea took root in my head that i had to bring it home for Calamity.
onto the track itself - I'm alright with how this sounds tbh, however i amproud that i was able to finish a full-fledged track. i didnt really have any outro ideas but i was able to get all of the sections i wanted out in a respectable 2 minutes. id say im satisfied with that, unlike valeria, where i just left it half baked and was throwing paint at a wall for arrangement. anyways, i kind of half assed the mixing so any feedback/tips would be appreciated.
for future reference, i want to dive into odder meters ,crazier chord structures, and genuine sound design more often. i feel as if im limiting myself to creating a certain section in a particular type of way, which i want to overcome
When i think "oh i've been here for almost 10 years now how could anybody get better to what i've listened to" I don't expect to be pulped
I'm back in my room, sitting on the floor, designing ocs for my friends, and listening to scratch music. I miss my childhood :[
i feel a slayr type beat coming
