The Zolon chasm is the largest by volume on Aion Major. It is the only chasm in the southern hemisphere. Unlike the Baranquon and Lightbulb City Chasm, the shape is highly irregular.

It is 1.5 million feet at the deepest. The shallowest on average is only 10k feet deep. The shallower part is large enough to build a large-sized Metropolis. The chasm is 432 miles long at each end of its mouth. It is 7 miles wide.

The equilateral sun-ring lights up the environment, giving it a Late afternoon or Early morning glow. The forest has grown towards the sun-ring.

The overall environment is cold, dim, and a perpetual late afternoon/sunset

The Chasm has similar units to Lightbulb City. They have been developed on both sides and are considered complete

The city: It is about half the size of Lightbulb city, but the chasm is bigger than the one in Lightbulb city. Although the city is half-sized, it still dwarfs the chasm. The size of the chasm tests the limits of the technology. The bridge is made from the strongest material possible, so the bridge won't collapse. It has the longest suspension bridges on the planet. The units are also made from the strongest material possible to handle the atmospheric pressures building from top to bottom.

Water is at the bottom. It is in an exotic state called "Ice 7". It is perpetually not reachable.
