Who wants to hear something funny??? You do,
@naswalt
! In my song
Reaction Test
you can see there is a coke bottle in a tree. Now, I took this pic in november, so its been here for a while. Anywho, this was taken about I mile from my home, so I decided to go back and take another photo, with that same coke can. Now, the tree I took the pic from is about 10 feet high from where my head is, so it is a dangerous photo.
I feel forwards towards the creek and got soaked (about an 8 foot fall). I saved my camera by throwing it, it is still alive. Every square inch of me was wet, but at least it was about 60 degrees today. But now my arm hurts whenever I move it.
Anway, I went back and grabbed the same coke can I have been using for other things. Now, the tree I was in was a downed oak tree with extended branches (the long ones) and it goes over a creek that is about ankel high (you can probably see where this is going). Anyway, I was going to throw the coke can down and take a picture and name the track I just made ' Fallen Down'. I put the coke can on the ground and climbed up the the tree, got into position, but before i could take the photo,I slipped
rock is probably the most difficult to pull off in a DAW recording environment because you're emulating all live instruments recorded in a room... Here's the best advice I can give:
aux-send reverb is busted. Everything can sound like it's in the same space!
live drums are dynamic (distortion is better than compression if you need loudness) and a variety of samples (slightly different timbre and pitch)
fake guitar is a bitch. steal stuff that
@joVee
&
@virux
have made
Just to be totally transparent with you I am busy through next week :/ I hope I'll have some open schedule Sat before a performance to maybe track some vocals, but I might just want to chill out and play with my new guitar.
Hi Naswalt! I wanted to ask for criticism and tips. Alot of your work is inspiring to me, I mean I always dreamed of being a producer in any I can and these are my first steps, So I would greatly appreciate it <3
