Don't be shy publishing even unfinished work. We can help most by looking at a couple of your published works and giving pointers. You can always delete partial projects or update them/remix them. I prefer to keep all of mine to show my progress over time...I really sucked when I first started LOL

Your welcome. Enjoy! Audiotool is amazing and you get to make pro-quality sounding tracks for free! And if you have questions, feel free to post on my wall or anyone else. The community here is great and people are definitely willing to help out. :) Have fun exploring! :)

We're spamming the guy's wall now! Anyway, Infyuthsion can help you a lot with transitioning from another program. He's very experienced with DAW's. I can only help with audiotool - it's the only program I've used. Other users to search for are: 808Chunk, syntax, tyburn, cripta, sandburgen, olondro, noraus...too many others. They typically publish so you can use the remix button to look at the setup which is the best way to learn new devices/techniques.

i mean really Who does not like to Twist and Turn KNobs OH yeah and Push buttons :) audio tool is Great for that ... I totally made 3 of my first tracks By accidental discoveries :)

Jan 21, 12

yes, and arche3.0 knows a lot about the tools too. I go by ear and just twist and turn knobs and stuff, but arche and infyuthsion are very good at teaching the technical side and know more about the devices than i do. ;)

If you need anything, let us know :). Looking forward to you getting into this and have fun. Just give yourself time to get used to it. Once you do, you'll accelerate pretty fast I bet

Also, if you haven't already, I would suggest liking the audiotool facebook page too: http://www.facebook.com/audiotool A lot of times, people will post tracks there, but they also will post questions and updates on what's happening with the site just to keep people in the loop. :)

:) Hey, i bet you'll be good then when you get warmed up here. :) Everyone's lost at first. I definitely was. It took me a while to get going, but the tutorials help a lot. I would start there. :)

Jan 21, 12

oedipax , thanks a lot !!!! but let me tell you i am a little upset because i am a pro ubuntu-studio user and here i am lost...!!!

Also, it helps to open up other people's tracks. Just click the "remix" button on the ones that are not all rights reserved and you can see how someone made the tracks. I really suggest watching the tutorials though. They will get you started. Most of all, just have fun. :)
