For me personally, I've felt what you're feeling for a while, always trying to surpass whatever work I've done that I felt satisfied with for one reason or another, and that's just not really happening right now. Currently in the process of trying to cement the idea to myself that this is something I do because I have fun doing it, and that's honestly the most important part of it
I know all this sounds kind of cliche, and fuck it totally is. Sometimes I return to cliches, and they make sense
I've written this about two times and I can't get it to not come out sounding kinda pretentious but
In the end of the day you're doing this to have fun. If you're currently making music because you feel you have to then that's probably the wrong reason (if there even is such a thing). Above all, I suppose, you should try to do your best, and try to be a little kinder to yourself.

I'll be honest here I'm not the biggest fan of the type of music you make but I think you're a cool dude, hence why I follow you. That said, from what I've heard you do have a good amount of ability when it comes to producing and you could do a lot of stuff
If you feel unsatisfied with your output, then you should try random shit again, like back when you were learning. Doesn't matter if it sounds like shit, just do it for the sake of it
