The addition of VST support is overall a good change for AT, there is only one thing that I think was lost, and it was the fact that before, everyone this website all had the same exact tools however scuffed those tools were lmao. The fact that the best AT users were using the same tools as you to make songs you looked up to is something that is going to be lost now, but that is an acceptable cost imo, because with VST support, this DAW could actually become a lot more popular and could bring a lot more pros in. Ones who didn’t just start on Audiotool, but actually still use it, since the ceiling for this DAW has been raised significantly.

The way the VST bridge is flawed right now, I don't think it will bring any pros in here unless fixed. Devs called it a "generic" one for a reason. But at this pace yeah, this new audiotool has the potential. Also they did mention once that they are planning to make the studio a standalone app. hopefully they don't change their minds or make it an electron-based app lmfao.

Wow, it looks different, I would have to see how it looks on desktop, but I don’t hate this redesign. I absolutely hated the redesign before this when they made Audiotool look like blue soundcloud but this new one, I don’t mind so much, I think it’s better, good job AT.

clearing out my phone yesterday, saw that half of it was just taken up with screenshots of just me arguing online with randos. So pathetic...
I could have saved so much time if I just called them a slur and logged off.
