100 Remix Comp. (Results)

100 Followers Remix Competition (Results) ---------- Man, I wasn't expecting so many entries for my first remix competition! Thank you all! So a ton of these were super conflicting for me. I was torn between a few for the first and second place, but I eventually made a decision. ---------- 1. Cerix - https://www.audiotool.com/track/y02oze6y9/ Other than the title, this is absolutely incredible! The second drop is almost like the stuff you hear on the radio, man! I'm beyond impressed, it's just too good. :) - Mixing/mastering and other technical stuff are overall decent. - Sound design is great! - Obvious effort was put in. ---------- 2. Virusmachine - https://www.audiotool.com/track/spcr6mgfu49/ Damn son, those are some good basses! For just "screwing around", this is fantastic! I love just about everything about this, especially the mid-tempo drop. Although it sounds a little outdated, I know plenty of people who still listen to this kind of dubstep... like me. - Mixing/Mastering and similar technical things are okay - Sound design is real good - The effort really shows ---------- 3. Crusty Bread - https://www.audiotool.com/track/5wln7u1n1/ I love the way you put this together. I really appreciate how you used the melody, along with the other elements you added, as well as the tempo change in the middle of the track, then how it slows down again... things like this really shows creativity and originality. - Mixing/Mastering ect... could be better, but overall okay - Sound design is generic, but good for chiptune - Clear effort shows through the small details in the track. ---------- Honorable mentions (in order): Four Chords(Gone) @looper KODEX\\ Brainpower Savori :_archive credencefaith TteeraBeats @dj_scratchdisk ---------- So much talent and skill all over the board here guys! I'm so very glad to have hosted a remix competition with so many good artists! Again, thank you guys so much. I hope you all had fun.
