(turns out it's an incredibly fun way to impose limitations on yourself to bring out creativity)
(the workflow is very similar to using an old school tracker, or even a hardware sampler like this)

yeah I've got a draft trying this out too. reminds me of my Digitakt, minus the reverb and delay sends. Even more limiting :)

you can tell that i gradually got better at it as i made every track lmao
it was a lot of fun and i'd love to see what other people could do with this kind of setup.
doing this was similar to building a track on my electribe es1, the workflow feels very oldschool and it's a lot of fun to just do little doodles this way
it's also really low stakes, don't like what you've got? just clear the preset and start over
