You may be thinking of the "slid" notes in which the notes slide up. You can make them that way by right clicking on the note and pressing "slide note." Try for yourself. I can assure you that they are in tune. Try for yourself.

crit: maybe vary the progression and the melody? it's also missing a lot of low mids. i would probably add one note an octave down in the chords to add some depth to them. also maybe boosting those frequencies with saturation would help. :)
