Glockenspiel Percussion Sample Pack (GLO)

ARC Open License, CC BY-SA 2019

Sound Design: @naut

Hardware: Two-Octave Chromatic Glockenspiel

Notes: Recorded with a Zoom H4N Pro. Initial cut and de-noising done with Audacity, final cutting and leveling with Probe.

I've attempted to soften the harsh metallic ring, reduce some of the resonant frequencies and give it some more texture through the use of various effects.

A glockenspiel consists of resonating metal bars, polyphony and clean sounding chords can be a bit difficult.

Drum samples used in demo are part of the Acoustic Realkit Drums Sample Pack.

    • tbf that's the whole point of us making these, so that we don't have any copyright violations. I would actually encourage trap kids to use these samples, at least that forces them to arrange their own melody as opposed to just using ripped loops.

  • maybe
