    This is has a nice structure and great percussion! Almost feels like this could fit well with a traditional Verse Chorus structure, moving into a prechorus right where this cuts off. Take a close look at the notes in your bass. I think you're sitting on a 9 or something in the bass in one of these chords, which has a very weird sound.
