After goofing around in the previous area, you are noticed by yet another commander - Chartreuse. Chartreuse is a big mellow being, often criticized by the other commanders for how laid back and lazy he is. He also tends to get pretty silly spontaneously. Despite his usual demeanor, Chartreuse has been known to be very reliable. If things get serious, and he is needed, he will get serious and will show up and lend a helping hand, even if it’s in the one way that no one expected.

He appears in front of you with curiosity as to what exactly you are and what you're doing here, and draws to the conclusion that you might be an outsider. He also notices your discomfort around his strange aura, and proceeds to warn you that you probably shouldn't be here. Outsiders are supposed to be destroyed on site due to the loss of a special being named Ether, but he doesn’t really feel much threat from you. He’s more worried about Apnea. He explains that Apnea is an emotionless, destructive commander who has been out of control lately, destroying anything he deems useless, especially the sectors of other commanders. If you continue your journey, you'll likely run into him at some point. Chartreuse then lazily decides to send him all the way back to the edge of the astral and physical planes (Stage 1) for Odera to deal with you so he doesn't have to, oblivious to the events that have taken place in the past 3 parts.
