Man, I have to say, it's been quite the adventure. Even though this whole game is still a concept, it took me over 2 years to make the full soundtrack, including the time between the individual parts. If I could've worked on this without having to dedicate time to my job, I'm confident that I could've finished it MUCH sooner, but it wouldn't have turned out the same. When I started this project in 2019, I thought about making an entire soundtrack, but I settled on only making 8 tracks just to get a general idea across. Later in mid-late 2020, I decided to continue astral aurora by making a second part, and that's when everything truly began to fall in place. I paid more attention to the quality of the music and story and noted any game ideas I had down. Mid 2021, I started working on the third and a little bit of the fourth parts of Astral Aurora. This is where I dedicated much more time to the story and lore, especially with creating and developing characters. At that point, I had several places where I wrote down notes: A Blueprint for things that I'm sure of, and a sort of notepad area where I put my ideas and other thoughts. Part 3 was also where I ran into my first artblock in the soundtrack. I was worried and tried to divert my attention to other things in order for my musical ideas to come back, and they eventually did. Finally, in late 2021, right after I released part 3, I began to work on the 4th and final part of Astral Aurora's soundtrack. Aside from the entire soundtrack, part 4 would go on to be the hardest musical project I've ever taken on. I had a MASSIVE artblock after completing the first few tracks, it was so big that I felt like giving up various times, something that I'd never thought about. It started to feel more like a painful grind than a fun time, but I did just come from making 22 tracks so go figure. In the end, though, I was able to complete everything, and I am mostly satisfied with how it all turned out! Whenever the game begins development, some tracks may be added, edited, or removed in the final product, but for now, this is my vision :)

. I created art for the rest of the soundtrack, including the album cover and logo!
Hey
@Jetdarc
! I'm working on my first attempt at Chiptune right now, and it's going great! Could you include it as the soundtrack to a post-credits boss fight? I'll publish the track sometime in the next few weeks/months. If you don't like it or don't want it, I totally understand. This is your game and you should be making the decisions about it. I'm just a fan trying to help you out!
Yeah uh I am not expecting anyone to listen to the full thing, so if you want, here are my personal highlights from the soundtrack (I WILL USE TRACK NUMBER TO SAVE SPACE, EXCLAMATION MARK MEANS MANDATORY -- LISTEN OR DIE):
