[STORY]

-Chapter 10: "Goodbye"

The earliest memory I have after Aiden was born was when I was 6 years-old. I had just been sent home from school for fighting with some nasty little boys that were teasing me for...well, you know. I'm usually a lot calmer than Aiden would be when people make up stupid stori about our family, but I got really pushed over the edge when they implied that my baby brother at the time was some sort of mutant. I layed their asses out flat. Even though Mom didn't want either of us to get into any fights, she thinks it's probably the best thing our father could have given us. The pride we have for our loved ones and the courage to smack the shit out of anybody that tries to challenge one of us. Giving back my Father's life enregy was the only way to revive him. They say that when you die, your life flashes before your eyes. If sacrificing my own life is the only way to get my Dad back, I'd gladly live through all my struggles again in a heartbeat...

  • What I mean by that is, If you're busy, use the time in between you have to work. If its not much, thats fine, as long as the collab is going the right way, and you communicate effectively, will it be a successful collab. Some people spend months and months on collabs. Taking your time is okay. And you're fine if you're over due on your album. If you get it finished, you get it finished.

  • 1. collaboration - the action of working with someone to produce or create something.

    I hate getting into this, but I really want to get my opinion across.

    //

    There can't be a time limit on when you want your collab to be finished. 1 week, 3 months, 1 year. You can't. Because you might not be giving everyone their opportunity to express their best ideas in the song. Sure, 3 months is a long time, but both of you are quite busy as of late. And you can't have something like school get in the way.

  • @Apollo (Old) I'm keeping this track the way it is. If he chooses to, Zerod can remix this and make the song he had originally envisioned. I normally don't let people remix my stuff, but I enabled them this time for that very reason.

  • I honestly was reluctant to get involved with this, and I don't know the entire context, but I'm sure you guys could work something out in the future. I mean, Zerod's still a co-author.

    I found with Genesis that you don't need to republish a track to modify its properties. I'm not sure if you can do the same with the track elements... :/

    But I'm sure you could still work on it somehow

  • Tbh just say fock deadlines man (not in school) but like who cares if it takes months or years to release a track

  • Work first. Music second. Just because you fucking have a shit ton of homework doesn't mean you should rush on a track. ESPECIALLY a collab. Collabs HAVE to take time. The other artist has to work on it too you know. They have their own shit to deal with as well so that doesn't mean they're gonna work on it every day. Just because you have work to do doesn't mean you should rush someone on a collab just so you can finish it.

  • I usually give each song about a month. But ever since my classes started, I have to condense that amount of work within two weeks, and that's only when I don't have a project to work on. The only songs I've rushed recently are We Found You and this track to assure that I can still work on my hw and stuff.
