band splitting like this is rlly only necessary if youre applying different effects to each band, for instance distorting the mids and highs on a bass while preserving the lows. for just general frequency tweaking and mixing you can accomplish a lot in one curve, i mean it gives you 7 bands to work with. just trying to save you some time!

its ok because same i get so fucking nitpicky with my mixes its a heap of stress to release anything but i think aiming for simplicity generally benefits
