      everybody uses a trap snare, its overused, HONESTLY I would LOVE to hear you remix the hell out of this and make it sound EXACTLY what you think would sound better and I mean that genuinely lol bc I want to hear it

      i meant like more of a trap type snare that has little to no decay and a fck ton of high end to layer over the snare you had

      i'm sure you could layer another snare on top of it so it fits the rest of your drums more, and with that you could also have a counter snare to play around with

      its too long

      or it has too much reverb on it

      usually I would stick like a low reverb to even out each drum equally

      so instead of a long wet hit with short hihats

      it would fit better with a short dry hit with short hihats

      well to make the perception of depth you need something like chorus at a slow speed and like 50% depth (and maybe some reverb with NO PREDELAY TIME), also i think what needs depth really depends on what sounds good to you, but i'd start at the louder instruments and work your way down, and add more reverb (n maybe a bit of delay..?) to the stuff that's quieter to make it sound in the background

      kick is louder, but what specifically do you think needs mixing to add more depth? to say it doesnt have any depth is absolutely crazy because its not supposed to be like this super bass super heavy hitting track as far as the synths

      yes. that's why i told you to mix some of the stuff more bc it doesn't really sound like it has any depth. you can turn a lot of the instruments up a ton bc rn it's stupid quiet
