1. pick a sample

2. on scratch, put strength all the way to 1/1

3. go to tone and fiddle around with it until you like what you hear

4. enjoy

  • this was a thing i already do, but it never comes to thought

    also to reduce artifacting that happens as a result (that clicking noise) you might need to use the gate effect

    you match the rate to the notes you have on grid and set scale to at least 99.99 percent and adjust it from there until it's at least less audible, slightly helps

    that's at least the basics, but i know how to completely get rid of it but that's a whole process i can show more than explain in words
