Huh SOPHIE was obviously trans to me, but that might be because I knew she was before I ever saw/heard her the first time. Cavetown kinda looks like it NGL, but I would probably not be able to tell. Trans men tend to pass very well. Kinda a shame for the ladies. (And partially my weird ahh)

i think ftm music is usually very mellow so it flies under the radar a bit meanwhile tgirls often make ridiculous, eclectic, bonkers music that gets lots of attention and then becomes synonymous with "trans music" in general like i didn't know cavetown was a trans guy for YEARS lmao
