I found a good way to describe it's effect. It's making the transients softer, and also squishy. Since AT's EQ has a lot of phasing issues. So when you make a 3 band EQ with the splitters and such you get weird phasing issues. Think of it like a delay, but instead of delay of time, it's delay of EQing (I think xd). If AT had a linear EQ, and all your math was correct, this would not be an issue - which is possible with the fabriltwr EQ
