RIP gxn

Feb 2, 23

why did this chart?????

Feb 2, 23

the arrangement goes hard but the 808 clips the master and it sounds so bad if you intentionally want the 808 to distort other instruments around it there's ways to do it with effects that sound so much better

lmao white based

Feb 7, 23

))tilted

Feb 6, 23

lol

Feb 6, 23

ok

Feb 6, 23

especially since you did it in 10 minutes, and they write 1000 words of feedback

Feb 6, 23

man, you will never be advised anything, because. they make that senile sound that people 30+ listen to i suggest keep fucking like you do especially since they make edm or experimental krch styles that are interesting only to bores

Feb 6, 23

dude why are you such a bore

Feb 2, 23

The lowend with the 808 and kick do not go well. The bass hits the master output, limiter, or compressor before any of the highend, creating the distorted sound it has. Without the multiple mixer layout, you're going to have a very messy track, with too much lowend happening on different frequencies

Feb 2, 23

The reason is not only for easier sidechain, but so you can put a compressor with the wire on each centroid/mixer, it makes leveling not as hard

Feb 2, 23

Because it's common sense and knowledge to not put the drums in the same mixer as your synths/stuff you want sidechained. My feedback still applies, as it is what I expected from hearing it a few mins after I said that

Feb 2, 23

how you gonna give feedback and not have listened to the track bruh

Feb 2, 23

I SPENT 10 MINUTES ON THIS

Feb 2, 23

Yeah now that I look at the snapshot, you need a minimum of 3 centroids for ease of access for mixing. One centroid for instruments/synths/fx, and the other for drums. Then the last centroid is so the other 2 can go into the last one, and then into the output. Yeah don't have the drums and synths in the same mixer, very bad idea - extremely inefficient

Feb 2, 23

You know you can blend distortion with some instruments and the 808 by putting a signal splitter on the end of both the 808 and whatever instrument you want to clip it with. Having a dry and wet can also work with it. But as for the drums maybe you can not have them clip with the 808, but actually be louder in lufs more so than db. I have not listened to the track yet though, I just woke up and want to go back to sleep haha
