like the dragging and dropping of cords is so annoying, and having to right click and find what machine you want to route is also almost equally annoying, albeit a little faster than dragging in some cases. most of my drafts arent unreasonably huge, so the right click method doesnt provide me with a huge advantage because i could drag and drop in almost the same amount of time

but it is not something that most producers would intend to use indefinitely, because it just takes so much effort to do your best work here, when you can pay a one-time fee to get instantly easier, faster, better results with a DAW that has a larger capacity for resources, better shortcuts for faster workflow, etc.

point being, as of NOW, July 2023, AudioTool is a great asset as a stepping stone for producers of all genres to learn the basics of mixing, mastering, arranging, sound design, recording, and pretty much anything else you'd want to learn about producing

and @blutooth i wouldnt be where i am without AT either. i was using strictly this daw for my first year because i didnt have the money for FL. my parents got it for me for christmas in 2019, and even then it still took me a while to get comfortable with it, so i still heavily relied on AT. i also had no good sample packs, just the default FL studio sounds (which are completely trash for most urban genres, save a select few samples here and there)

Audiotool has so much potential, just can’t wait to see what happens in the next few years
Jul 9, 23
Yeah have it as a paid feature, to much work that has to be put in for it to actualy work
Jul 9, 23
That’s for years to come as of now it’s a web studio 😭
Jul 9, 23
but if they do that i also feel like they should only let patreon subs to use the offline feature

Imagine if it allows third party plugins… BRO AUDIOTOOL WOULD BE SO BEAST
