i second sinusoidal's comment. a lot of what being a producer is about is studying the mix of tracks in the genre you wish to work in. sometimes trying to recreate a sound from scratch is the best way to learn how to produce, especially if you're wanting to practice sound design.
i'm not blooome, but ill try and answer. start by studying a bunch of lo-fi tracks that are already out there and taking notes about the structure, the instrumentation, the arrangement, etc. basically, everything to do with how a song is built. once you feel like you have a solid-enough understanding of how lo-fi is made, start making it in studio. just know that it may take a few tries before you start getting something you like. this is where its crucial to just keep trying. you got this!
