Hey fellow audiotoolers! My real name is Jedediah Caro and this is my first/only DAW (digital audio workstation) I use. I hope you enjoy my music! ENFP-A

Basic background: 26 yrs old. Filipino, anime-lover, art-lover, gymrat, Christian missionary. 3 years piano experience (stopped for some reason). Found audiotool at the end of the year 2011. USAF

    It’s hard to imagine what my life would be like without Audiotool. Part of the reason I love music so much is cuz I found Audiotool when I was in middle school. I saw that it was free and it felt super cool to start making music. Astrum’s track “Come Get Me” was featured at the time and thought I would like to make music of that quality one day. Nowadays I have more hobbies than back then but perhaps if I’ve never found Audiotool, my love for music would not be as much as it is today. Who knows.

      Who knows what other endeavor my time on Audiotool would have been allocated to if I had never found it. I coulda been fluent in another language for all I know lol

      Of course you can mess with the velocity of each hat too, cuz that's what I like to do.

      For example, I place 100% velocity hi-hats on 1,5,9,13. Then step 2 would have 25% velocity, step 3 would have 50% velocity, step 4 would have 75% velocity. Repeat for steps 6-8, 10-12, and 14-16.

      Usually I also place a semi-random hat or shaker at the step prior to a 100% hat, and then one 2 steps after. Kinda like a moombahton beat but with hats instead. For example, I can place a new type of hat at step 4 (next to step 5's 100% velocity hat), then a hat at step 7. Repeat for the next half.
