what's the consensus on people uploading copyrighted acapellas to make flips and remixes on audiotool?? cause i thought we were on the same page that it's a problem, but lately i'm seeing offenders get a pass... yet suddenly there's no tolerance when trap prods do it?
i'm confused what the rules are to y'all and im not a fan of double standards

. I had hoped to sooner record samples for users to use in their tracks sooner but I haven't gotten around to doing so because of life. I'm sorry for that but I hope to start uploading my own foley sounds soon for people to use. Regarding the issue at hand, I don't understand it either and I'm a little surprised that people don't respect the value of copyright (Yes I'm aware there will always be people who don't care)
I try my best to obey these rules. But I kinda agree that it's a bit of a pity. I've dipped my toes into using whole tracks as a remix basis and one of the tracks I made that way is my favourite wip in more than a year. I'll try to make it something without the sample. That's also possible. If you have a basis it's easier to either remake it or add those elements that are missing and make something new.
