If you don't want to listen to it, fine. I've said it before- I make music for myself, if you just so happen so like it, then you like it. If you don't like it, listen to it. Because I'm willing to bet a lot of you haven't yet.
The next album is the first album I'm actually proud of. I'm actually listening to it and enjoying it, instead of publishing tracks for kicks and laughs. I mean, every album has its good songs, but many also have their bad songs. I don't think there's a single bad song on the new album, set to the the light of day this Friday. I don't know if it's my best, but it's definitely my favorite one yet. It's also my most aggressive, heaviest, most fucked-up album yet.
It Gets Dark is more than just the title of the song I just put out. It's also a warning about my next album- I plan on it being a dark, gritty version of what I've been doing. Also, expect less metal influences, more rhythm-based stuff.
I know every asshole says shit like this, but my honest opinion is that my next album is my best one yet. It's by far my favorite, and IMHO its the most flowing, the songs are catchier, but still weirder than ever before. Its more upbeat, fewer short, banger 3 minutes songs. Better sounding, more focused, more concise. I love it, and I hope you do too.
Remember: I make music for myself. If you happen to like it or enjoy it, I thank you for appreciating it. But the music I make is what I feel represents myself at a given time. It is not music for the masses, nor will I ever see a Top 10 single or album out of it.
Just realized than the upcoming album will result in my 50th published track. 50 songs, 3 albums, 2 EPs, and a compilation, all in under 1 year. Pretty happy with myself on this.
