Sorry dude at work myself! I dunno about mac but there is a way, try asking @Potasmic or @Inavon, they seem to know their stuff :) Also I found out how to do it from Audiotool Artists on FB try posting something there :)

you're in chrome > settings > content settings, right? i just disable all of them if i need to. personally i don't have any other sites that give me popups. oh, and try restarting chrome as well.

are you on chrome? if so you can go into your chrome settings and disable popup notifications.

When a notification pops up I think you can right click on it and a disable option comes up. I'm not sure tho :)
