If you happen to be in the Los Angeles area or are willing to make the trip, you are invited to join us live at the event. It is 21+ only event and RSVPs are required as we have limited capacity.
At 2pm the Audiotool Meetup will start and we invite everyone to discuss Audiotool Next with us. Hosted on site from part of the AT Team as well as our US long time users https://www.audiotool.com/user/fonder, https://www.audiotool.com/user/foxyfennec/ and https://www.audiotool.com/user/naswalt/
At 6pm, Dublab radio will co-host our Audiotool party with live acts from https://www.audiotool.com/user/anotherevolution/ and https://www.audiotool.com/user/crazydruminator/ as well as live performances from LA rappers DSTRK, Elle E.D., and **Ill Camille **and DJ sets by https://www.audiotool.com/user/vltra2/ and Dublab DJs **Akumen **and Damar Davis mixing and celebrating 13 years of great music created and published on Audiotool. dublab host Christina 'Lady C' will guide us through the evening.

Yes, this was super short notice, also for us!
But we really wanted to take this opportunity with Dublab and it was the only possible date for all parties involved, so we decided to just do it now, even if it is a bit crazy. But 4 hours of airtime on Dublab radio was something we couldn’t pass on. So please apologize that we can’t push the date back. We were talking to everyone who performs at the event for a couple weeks now, but couldn’t announce it earlier to the community because it was still not 100% confirmed.
Dublab will livestream the event and if all goes well, we’ll do many more events with them in the future, hopefully all over the globe, so that everyone has a realistic chance to also attend in person at some point. Its also a bummer that we need to exclude users under 21 for this event and hope, that we’ll find a way to organize Meetups in the US without this age restriction in the future. The one in Cologne in November will be luckily 16+ and the date will be announced soon, but we know that this does not help users in the US or elsewhere.
Don’t worry if you can’t make it to this event, most of the Audiotool team is also not able to make it in person but will attend the Meetup via video to say hello.
We’ll be there in person with 5 people from the AT team and will have musicians, producers and DJs out of LA showing up for the party starting at 6pm. We thought that we’ll start the live stream when the party starts but if you want to attend the meetup virtually, we can of course set this up.

On one hand, I feel the same. On the other hand I figure that it's better that it happens, short notice or not, than that it doesn't. If the event hadn't been scheduled at all, nothing would change for those who couldn't go, perhaps except for a feeling a FOMO. As long as it doesn't change the possibility of further future events happening, I'd say there's no harm.
