Onei and Odera encounter a dark, vast area of ruin. Odera knows what Apnea is capable of, and theorizes that the beings here may fear the presence of others MUCH more due to the traumatic experience of seeing everything around them be consumed by complete and utter annihilation, and as a result, will either hide or lash out violently. Chartreuse told Onei about Apnea before, but he's now witnessing for himself the greatest extent of the damages caused by his seemingly senseless destruction. Thinking back, nearly every area Onei's been in had small examples of this destruction, but he hadn't thought much of it until now. This is another reminder that Onei and Odera will run into him eventually.
